Golden Eagle

Aquila chrysaetos

One of the most widely distributed raptors in the Northern Hemisphere and one of the most powerful predators in the avian world. Golden eagles can reach speeds of 300 km/h in a stoop and have been recorded taking prey as large as deer fawns.
